PCOM Georgia

I am a first-generation Kurdish-American born and raised in Fairfield, CT. I completed my undergraduate degree at Hofstra University in 2019. After graduating, I took a gap year and worked as a medical assistant in a primary care office in order to gain some experience and clinical hours for PA school. Presently, I am a second year PA student at PCOM GA in Suwanee, GA. I am the diversity chair for my class as well as a student ambassador for our program.

South University - Tampa

I received my BA in Psychology with an emphasis in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience at the University of Florida.  After graduation, I took a year off to gain patient care experience as a nursing assistant, which solidified my desire to work in healthcare and play a larger role in patient care. I am working towards my master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Tampa, class of 2025.  I dream of empowering Kurdish communities locally and abroad.

Lipscomb University

My name is Sehad Saeed, I was born and raised in Duhok, Kurdistan. My family and I immigrated to the United States in 2010. I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with an exercise science major and biology minor in 2023. While at MTSU I was a publicist for Pre-Script club. I worked as certified pharmacy technician, which gave me the ability to gain experience in the pharmacology side of medicine. I also worked at Saint Thomas as an exercise physiologist with cardiac patients. I will be attending Lipscomb University to work towards my master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
