COVID-19 has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) as of March 11th, 2020 affecting every state in the United States and most countries worldwide. The Kurdish American Medical Association would like to raise awareness about this urgent public health concern. Please read and watch these informational handouts and videos in English and Kurdish to learn how you can help mitigate the disease. Please also share them with family and friends so everyone can do their part to keep our communities safe and educated.

The work of KAMA on COVID-19 was highlighted by the United Nations Secretary General.

Dr. Heval Kelli is a former Syrian refugee, now part of the #COVID19 response in the community that welcomed him years ago.

Thank you Dr. Kelli for sharing your story with me. You're living proof of the power of inclusion- and how refugees & migrants can be part of the solution. pic.twitter.com/jy7jw24lUt
