KAMA Vaccine Initiative

Mission:
The KAMA Vaccine Initiative aims to promote vaccination awareness in the Kurdish community through educational videos and social media posts. Vaccines are used to help prepare the immune system for potential exposures to harmful diseases, and before being administered to the public, they must undergo rigorous testing to ensure their efficacy and safety. As such, vaccines can save lives on a large scale, making it vital for everyone to protect themselves for their own safety and the betterment of the community.

Goals:
  1. Advocate for community-wide vaccination
  2. Provide accurate and up-to-date information about vaccines and their benefits
  3. Dissolve myths and misconceptions surrounding vaccines and their safety
Initiative Team:
  • Alan Amedi: Project Leader
  • Amad Amedy: Project Co-Leader
  • Sara Zandy: Content Producer
  • Zozan Tahir: Content Producer
  • Mohamad Alo: Graphics Producer
  • Heval Kelli, MD: Project Advisor
