P4- Pharmacy Student

I am a proud Kurdish-American residing in Murfreesboro, TN. I received my B.S. in Biochemistry from Middle Tennessee State University. Currently, I am a P4 at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy. Alongside my Doctor of Pharmacy, I am pursuing a Master of Management in Healthcare. A great program I am involved in is the Vanderbilt Program in Interprofessional Learning, in the Pediatric Surgery clinic obtaining critical clinical experience in an interdisciplinary setting. Also, I am an active member of APhA, ASHP, CPNP, and SNPhA.

P2- Pharmacy Student

I am a first-generation Kurdish-American born and raised in Nashville, TN. I attended Middle Tennessee State University under the 3+1 pre-pharmacy program. At MTSU I was a former treasurer of the Pre-Scripts club and a former member of the MTSU Pharmacy club. As of now, I am a P2 student at the Belmont College of Pharmacy and I am a current member of APhA and ASHP. In addition, I work as an intern at Walgreens continuing to build the foundational experience into becoming a well-rounded pharmacist. I inspire to assist high school and college students interested in the field.

Pre-Pharmacy

My name is Metin Yasin. I was born and raised in Duhok, Kurdistan and moved to the US in 2014. Currently, I live in Nashville, TN and am a pre-pharmacy major at Middle Tennessee State University. I also am a leading pharmacy technician for several years, and a member of my management team at my CVS pharmacy. During college, I was one of the founders and the president of the MTSU Red Cross organization, and an active member in several pre-pharmacy clubs. As a pre-pharmacy student, I am applying for pharmacy school and planning to attend a local pharmacy school for the 2024-2025 school year.
